Keep your data in mind
After installation, data is still stored separately for each device and browser and does not sync automatically. Data you used in the browser may not appear in the installed app.
To move data to another device or browser, use “Export as JSON” under “Backup management” in “Data management” in the original environment. Then use “Restore from JSON” in the destination environment.
App updates
The app checks for a new version when you open it, return from another app or tab, and every hour while it stays open. When an update is found, “A new version is available” appears on the home screen. It may take a little time to appear after the update is found. Select “Update” to switch to the new version, or “Later” to dismiss the notice for now.
The app does not automatically reload until you select “Update”, so an update will not interrupt your review or card entry and lose your work. If you have the app open in several tabs or windows, however, selecting “Update” in one may also reload the others.
After the “A new version is available” notice appears, closing every tab and window for this site, including the installed app and pages such as this guide, then opening it again also switches to the new version. If you close everything before the notice appears, the update is found the next time you open the app and takes effect when you open it once more after that.
