This page explains what information Flashcards uses and where it is stored.

Information stored on your device
- Flashcards, decks, and folders.
- Study history and review records.
- App settings.
- Images added to cards.
This information is stored in a database (IndexedDB) in the browser on your device.
No automatic sync
Data is separate for each device and browser. There are no accounts or cloud sync, and no mechanism that automatically sends your study data to another device.
Backup files
You can export a backup as a JSON file yourself. You are responsible for where you save or share that file. It contains your study data.
Text to speech
Text to speech uses the browser’s Web Speech feature. How speech is processed depends on your browser and device.
Advertising, analytics, and contact
The app currently has no advertising, traffic analytics, or contact submission feature. If any of these are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated beforehand and any necessary consent will be obtained.
Site hosting
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with other websites, the hosting provider may handle communication logs associated with delivering pages.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, this page will be updated. The update date appears at the top of the page.
